The Media Federation Awards program is the pre-eminent Awards program in the advertising media communications industry in Australia. The purpose of the Awards is to highlight the value that the advertising media communication industry contributes to clients businesses. The Awards showcase the finest thinking and solutions in media communication practice that have contributed to a successful, results driven advertising campaign.
The Media Federation Awards’ major role is to promote innovation, which in turn results in work that drives client growth. These awards are a celebration of the best work of the year; work that breaks boundaries and drives results for clients. Work we can really be proud of and work that demonstrates to clients the value media agencies add to their business. At the end of the day, the work we do has to deliver ROI and contribute to clients’ bottom line.
There’s no doubt we are operating in challenging times, but accountability remains at the forefront of everything we do. To this end, we introduced an additional layer of rigor to the judging of this year’s awards. All work submitted required a letter from the client, verifying the results plus the Awards committee called clients to reconfirm the work and results submitted.
It is always inspiring to see the growing support of the industry with the increased number of entries. The NGEN category continues to grow now receiving over 100 entries. Nevertheless, I would like to encourage more clients to get involved, and enter the Marketing Team of the Year category.
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners. To be a finalist in what we believe to be the most rigorous judging process of any industry awards program, be confident that you are among the best in market. This is a market that is producing world-class and category-breaking work. Be proud to be part of it.
Finally, a big thank you to all the sponsors, Sophie Madden and her MFA team, plus the refreshed awards committee for their help in making the Media Federation Awards possible. A special thank you also to Two de Force, always behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly.
