SPRING has sprung which means it’s time for the annual Spring Festival.
Come along to the Community Centre in beautiful Rainbow Beach tomorrow to enjoy this family fun day.
To keep children of all ages entertained, there will be horse rides, laser battles, amusement rides, face painting and an animal petting farm.
For those a bit more daring, book in for a fire twirling workshop or, for those a little less daring, one of the fire-free twirling workshops.
Join a drumming workshop or jam in the percussion circle – you can even bring your own instrument – and stick around for the live fire performance as the sun sets.
If you enjoy live music, AICM Rock’Skool will be performing in the afternoon with some wonderful young artists.
Buskers will be on-site from 9am to add to the atmosphere and, if you play an instrument or sing, you should consider signing up on the festival website for the busking competition. You could win the $500 first prize.
Need a bit of retail therapy? There will be a big range of markets and some delicious food stalls including a barbecue, hot doughnuts, loaded potatoes, pancakes, nachos and ice-cream.
Perhaps you prefer liquid refreshment?
Just head to the licensed bar, coffee cart, Devonshire tea or juice van.
Don’t forget to buy a ticket or two in the monster raffle – you have a chance to win some fantastic prizes including accommodation and meal vouchers, tandem flight experiences, fishing charters and more!
Rainbow Beach Spring Festival is proudly organised by Rainbow Beach Progress Association Inc.

Henry Sapiecha-Editor & owner of this & 85 other sites says below of Rainbow Beach
I live at Torbanlea in the Fraser Coast near Rainbow beach. Spent several weeks camping on the beach at Rainbow until the rangers threw me off for overstaying above the max time allowed.I could not help it. Was one of the best places on earth. Have travelled the world & can say that without reservation. Come and enjoy this magic part of the world.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. SOMETHING YOU WILL NEVER FORGET
